Paintings - watercolor, acrylic, mixed media

My work is ever evolving. After being known primarily for watercolor, I have been creating artwork with combinations of acrylic, collage and photography to create surprise and emotion when viewing my artwork. Color, pattern, and texture especially intrigue me. In my current paintings and mixed media pieces I want the view to use their imagination to find hidden objects. In the altered photography works, I strive to create layered meaning and emotional content that changes the image from mundane to an enigma.
